Throughout this issue, you’ve seen what makes the College of Natural Science such a vibrant and impactful place, where students lead with curiosity, faculty drive breakthrough research, and programs make a difference in communities near and far. What often goes unseen is how many of these stories are made possible through private support. Philanthropy helps fund the research, scholarships, outreach, and innovation that defines our college. To continue building on that momentum, MSU launched a $4 billion, comprehensive, multi-year fundraising campaign — UNCOMMON WILL, FAR BETTER WORLD — our largest campaign ever.

This campaign is rooted in a bold belief that Spartans can help build a more just, sustainable, and healthy world. And the College of Natural Science is playing a leading role. With a goal of $135 million, the college is focused on three key pillars where giving makes the greatest impact: Talent Activated, Synergies Imagined, and Futures Built.
